From 24 September 2022, the Civic Museums of Bassano del Grappa presents Il bianco senza tempo, an exhibition project by the artist POL Polloniato, heir and protagonist of the centuries-old ceramic tradition of the territory of Nove and Bassano del Grappa.
Curated by Elena Forin, the exhibition collects and displays to the public the last fifteen years of the artist's research, with a series of works of ceramic art presented in the form of installations, which stand as a tribute to the great sculptor Antonio Canova and of which white, as a colour and as a material, will be the common denominator. The exhibition, set up in the rooms on the fourth floor of Palazzo Sturm, through selected groups of works speaks of the history of the territory, its aesthetic and productive context, the heritage of civic collections, the evolution of taste, styles, and sculptural languages of which with ceramics, in this geography, the "plastic boundaries" were burned.On cover: POL Polloniato, Metaforma #1, 2016.
