On Saturday, 16 May 2026, at 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., the Museo Civico di Bassano del Grappa will host a special two-hour event conceived and led by Riccardo Guasco, an internationally renowned illustrator known for his unmistakable style: "Masterclass with Riccardo Guasco. Design your poster."

The activity, aimed at students and enthusiasts of illustration, graphic design and visual arts, offers an original workshop in which participants will discover the visual synthesis of the advertising poster through the collage technique, both analogue and digital. Participants will be invited to deconstruct and reconstruct a landscape through geometric shapes, flat colours and dynamic compositions, in order to create a real poster.

After an initial introductory phase dedicated to Guasco’s international experience and to the analysis of advertising graphics, a design phase will follow, during which participants will create a poster, choosing their own creative focus between a narrative or abstract approach.

The Masterclass will take place in Sala Chilesotti at the Museo Civico di Bassano del Grappa at a cost of €18 per person, including admission to the permanent collections of the Musei Civici and to the current temporary exhibitions, "Riccardo Guasco. Free solo" and "Olivetti. L’arte di comunicare". Participants who attend the workshop with a tablet or other digital devices may also take part in the masterclass in digital format.
