On the occasion of the renovation of its exhibition spaces, the Museo Civico of Bassano del Grappa is presenting a rich program of lectures with leading scholars aimed at delving into the history of Bassano's collections and those of other important institutions, and outlining the role that museums can play in contemporary society.

The cycle Meeting at the Bassano Museum. Museums, Exhibitions, and Restorations, scheduled from the fall of 2023 to the spring of 2024, intends to bring citizens closer to the knowledge and care of Italian and international heritage. A cycle of meetings held by museum directors, authoritative scholars, and renowned restorers who will unveil stories and events related to great artists, works and important museum collection.

Twelve appointments to experience the museum not only as a place that preserves works of art, but as a meeting point and exchange of knowledge, accessible to everyone.

The cycle of conferences is curated by Mario Guderzo. 

All lectures will be held in Italian.
