Mother's Day at the Museum!
The Civic Museums of Grappa celebrate Mother's Day on Sunday, 12 May!

On the occasion of this special day, all mothers accompanying their children will be able to participate free of charge in the animated visit Baci a stampo… E a stampa conceived for the exhibition Renaissance in Black and White. The art of Printmaking in Venice (1494-1615).

Baci a stampo… E a stampa is a fun and engaging animated visit which will accompany the whole family in discovering the secrets of engraving. A sixteenth-century printer will provide a hands-on experience with all the different materials and tools used in his workshop and will present the most iconic engravings on display, whilst guiding participants in the creation of a print by retracing the most typical phases of the art of engraving. Finally, a special graphic process will allow the various prints to match, identifying the exact point at which one print can "kiss" the other. Thus, each family will be able to combine their works to obtain an original "family print" as a testimony of the experience lived together.
