From Monday, 3 August 2026, until the beginning of September 2026, the Museo Civico di Bassano del Grappa will be closed to the public to allow two extraordinary maintenance works to be carried out.
The works will involve securing the plasterwork in the upper octagonal hall, which is intended to house Antonio Canova’s Colossal Horse, and reinforcing the floors in the entrance area from the cloister.
Throughout August, the following sites will remain open as usual:
→ Palazzo Sturm, where the exhibition “Olivetti. The Art of Communication” can be visited;
→ the Civic Tower, open on Saturday, Sunday and public holiday afternoons.
