Workshop on drypoint technique
Four unmissable appointments that will introduce you to one of the most fascinating engraving techniques used since the sixteenth century, the drypoint technique.

The workshop, lead by the printer G. Giancarlo Busato, will give visitors the opportunity to create an engraving using the drypoint technique.

The activity will last approximately an hour and a half: during the first part, a brief introduction to the technique will be followed by a practical part dedicated to engraving on a plexiglass matrix; in the second part you will be able to witness the manual printing process. You will also be able to visit the exhibition Renaissance in black and white exhibition. The art of printmaking in Venice (1494-1615).

At the end, each participant will be given the completed work, matrix and print.
