Carnival at Musei Civici of Bassano del Grappa
On the occasion of Carnival, on Monday 3 and Wednesday 5 March 2025, the Musei Civici di Bassano del Grappa are delighted to welcome adults and children with two special dates for the The quarrels of of Carnival and Lent interactive visit for families.The workshop will take participants through the rooms of the Museo Civico to discover Carnival and Lent, revealing their secrets and history scattered with “quarrels”. Observing the representations of the two celebrations in the art world and after having made a themed hat, adults and children will have fun exploring the masterpieces in the permanent collections.
The quarrels of of Carnival and Lent interactive family visit will take place at the Museo Civico on Monday 3 March and Wednesday 5 March 2025 at 3 pm:
→ Held with a minimum of ten and a maximum of twenty people
→ Bookings necessary by 12 noon on the day before the activity
→ Length: 90 minutes
→ Cost: €9 per person, including the entrance ticket
On Sunday 2 March, during the parade of allegorical Carnival floats through Bassano del Grappa’s city centre from 3 pm, there may be some difficulty in reaching the museum’s main entrance in Piazza Garibaldi 34. Entrance is in any case guaranteed by buying the ticket only from the Musei Civici ticket offices.
