On the occasion of Buongiorno Ceramica, the multi-venue celebration of Italian Ceramics organized by the Associazione Italiana Città della Ceramica (AiCC), Palazzo Sturm and its collections will be open to visitors free of charge all day Saturday 17 May 2025.

Immerse yourself completely in the world of ceramics and also take advantage of our two special events for the whole family:

→ Children’s workshop ‘Hands in... a cup’, 3pm.
A fun and stimulating experience where each young participant will be able to make their own cup in clay, using the ‘slab’ or ‘colombino (coiling)' techniques. It’s a great opportunity to explore the world of ceramics and create a shape from your imagination, customising your own creation in a unique and original way!

Activity aimed at primary school children, for a maximum of 25 participants
Duration: 1.5 hours
Cost: € 7 per person

→ Guided tour for adults ‘The Colourful World of Ceramics’, 3 pm.
A journey through shapes, colours and techniques, in the marvellous frescoed rooms of Palazzo Sturm, to explore the history of Bassano ceramics from its artisan origins to contemporary experimentation. It's a great opportunity to have a closer look at the masterpieces of the greatest master ceramicists of our area and understand how ceramics has been transformed over the centuries, intertwining with culture, taste, and the evolution of society.

Activity aimed at adults, for a maximum of 30 participants
Duration: 1 hour
Cost: € 6 per person

The events, both scheduled for 3 pm, will allow interested adults to register their child or children for the workshop and participate in the guided tour at the same time.
