The Civic Museums of Bassano del Grappa hosts Museomania #8, Antonio Riello’s exhibition which reflects on the permanent collection through a selection of thirty works of the artist installed among the works of the great masters, from antiquity to the twentieth century. Museomania #8
The exhibition takes place among the masterpieces exhibited to the public and aims to eliminate the rhetoric between old and new, giving life to a confrontation that reinterprets in an ironic and critical way what the museum of Bassano del Grappa preserves. Through a game of references, the entire operation plays on formal and content references between the halls of the Civic Museum and Riello’s works, enhancing the elective affinity and the coincidence of intent.
